Welcome
Hello there, my name is Reena and welcome to my humble blog. I'm 23 yrs old currently doing my degree in Econs anf Finance in SIM. I strive to achieve a good balance of spritual and emotional comfort. I'm a typical Taurean, which means I have very little patience and alot alot of ego. I can be really quick tempered but I try not to hold grudges for long. I have a weird bonding with God and a craving for knowledge. I hope you do enjoy the documentations of my random thoughts.

Deva the next Vasantham Star. / 9/25/07
It's been a great day so far and the test was a breeze for me. I love the feeling of walking out of the exam hall feeling good about yourself. Met Puppy for a healthy Subway lunch and caught a movie. Rougue Assasin is a good movie. I loved the twist in the plot but it was overly gory though. After the movie, I was wishing I could meet Lynn for tea but she's been so busy giving tuition. Puppy and I had our long "teh chats." It's this "teh chats" that bonded us from the very beginning of our relationships and after every chat he never fails to take me by surprise but the little things he says. Our long conversation got me into a very reflective mood on the way back home. Many things were running through my head and I questioned myself.

I shan't discuss about the details of the conversation but one topic that excited both of us was the one on Vasantham Star. Vasantham central has been airing the live telecast of Vasantham Star (yes it's like Singapore Idol) for about a month now. There are 5 singers left and next week the top four positions will be chose. This is the 2nd time Deva is joining the competition and in the beginning many people were unimpressed by his appearance on TV. You can't blame him. Show business is all about new faces and talents. Talents.....Deva has alot of it. He's the most charming singer I've known and during this course of going down to mediacorp and supporting him as well as voting like crazy from home has made me realise how much he has impressed me as well as many others out there. It wasn't a surprise that he was the top singer for the last show but according to sources who watched the pre-recorded show, he forgot his lines about 2 times. (Watch him in action this Sunday at 6pm..and do vote!) People make mistakes but don't judge him on that. He can sing, has a great personality and is a very lovable person. I asked Shaun if he prays for Deva and Shaun said "Yes, baby I do. He wants this badly, I hope he gets it." Awww....I thought that was so sweet. I left Bukit Batok knowing that I would be shopping in Concourse for Pom Poms. I'm going to give it my all in supporting him. He's the next Vasantham Star!
