The Lap top helped us out a great deal.
Oooooh I liked the orange lights in her kitchen. Very romantic feel it had. Measuring cup and pretty photos of her and her sis....
Hard at work...
See how serious she gets when it comes to baking. Lol!
Can't remember what that was but she chose the transparent bowl to make it "professional" looking. Ha ha ...
Oooh...Always been a hershey's fan and I use hershey for absolutely anything. Best to have a cup of hot cocoa on a rainy day. Yum......with condensed milk plssss.

Superscreenshot!
Yes....You see I've tried getting screen shots of many sites before. But, the manual print screen version never worked for me. Besides, I had to change the measurements and format of the screen shot all manually. Thanks to http://www.superscreenshot.com/ I now don't have to do any of that.
This is a screenshot of my friendster page.

Hope superscreenshot is of some help to you.

Weeeeeee.....the weekend is here.
Work was good today. I like it when Raymond does the briefing. He gets really long winded and that makes it perfect for me to snooze while pretending to jot down notes. Lol! Today the briefing dragged on for one and a half hours and I silently prayed for him to go on.
It's a Sat afternoon and I'm home snuggled up in bed again chatting with Nora and her friend online about this psychotic ex colleague of ours. What a small world it is.
I love afternoon. It would be good if I could swim right now. I would stay all day long in the water. I', looking forward to the "long time never meet baking session" with Ruthy Baby tomorrow. I'm would enquire all about her well being and watch her make me laugh for the corniest thing she would say. It would be different from my mundane Sunday routine. I need to go to church tomorrow. I need spiritual guidance on too many things which I'm loosing track on. I need to cut down on the chocolates too. Pupsie kept commenting on my tummy all day long. Gosh....
Ps: I'm going to buy myself a new cycle with my next pay. I need to start living healthy.

I'm sick again. Down with flu. Decolgen is not stopping the mucus from flowing from my nostrils but it's making me sleep so much. I bought carrot juice from the petrol station and it promised to be high in vitamin C. Yummy it was and I gulped it all down.
There hasn't been a day since Ranjit's death that I've haven't heard someone mentioning him. He knows way too many people and I never had a clue that some of my friends knew him.
Work has been great.
It's the people in office that makes me want to head to work everyday. I need to start ending my nights earlier. Too much of later nights is taking a toil on my health. I need to sleeeeeep early!
I've got myself a book read and Sonia promised to lend me some of hers as well. I'm going to be a good girl and snuggle up and read away. My room needs dusting and I feel like baking a chocolate cake.
I'm getting drowsy..and I like tt feeling.

My cousin Ranjit Kumar passed away in a tragic motor bike accident day before yesterday. The news of his passing has come as a huge shock to me because I still remember celebrating his birthday last month in jeans.
Two weeks back, he had come outside my house with his girlfriend Revathi to visit my Mum and play with Buddy my dog. Buddy was given to me by Ranjit as well.Unfortunately, my Mum wasn't around and he never got to come see my new place. During the wake, people kept mentioning that before one passes away, they would do or say things that would somehow affect the loved ones. Ranjit for that instance, took and insurance two months before his passing and said many things to his closed ones about his funeral arrangements and etc.
The impact of the bike skidding had damaged his body badly. His head had gone through the green divider and the helmet had smashed into pieces. The alcohol percentage in his body was really high. The pillion is in ICU in a very critical condition.
Memories of him saying and doing the most sweetest things kept flashing in my head. I remember him taking charge of my 21st birthday party and him always being protective of me in clubs. He used to pick me up after kinder garden and buy me all the sweets that I asked for. He was there while I was growing up and was there when I needed a brotherly figure around.
I pray for his soul to rest in peace. And I hope time will heal Revathi's aching heart. She was supposed to get married to him this year. All hopes and dreams have been crashed.
His sudden departure has made me realise how I've been so ignorant to the people around me. Life is so unpredictable and death comes without an invitation of clue. It's time I start cherishing the people around me cause since death is so unpredictable, I might loose them someday and regret not letting them know that I care and love them.
And pls........for those of you who know of people who drink and drive, pls pls pls pls let them know about Ranjit's death.

Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna....
Never Say Goodbye...Cause It Kills the Hope Of Meeting Again.....
Good afternoon one and all...
The solitary wine drinking got me high. I watched Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna with that "high feeling." Cried like a baby. I woke up with puffy eyes and I hate looking into the mirror now. Tried avoiding my reflection in the toilet. Lol. More concealer Will go under the eyes.
I didn't like the short getaway. It's made me cry more in solitude. I get these mini outburst of emotions and so I walk away from the source of annoyance. I'm getting bored being cooped in here and I'm contemplating on borrowing some dvds and heading home soon. I miss my bed, my dog and my room. I've grown attached to that messy, untidy and needsagooddusting room of mine.
I'm loving all things hindi. On top of my list would be, Shah Rukh Khan. Then it's got to be Ramit Dave and Sonia Randawa. =]
The squirrel is somewhere on the list as well. =]
Sundeep made me sad by telling me that Shah Rukh Khan was bisexual. Booo.....Rumours...but he was super insistent and said he knew the guy who slept with him. =p Whatever.
I want to learn hindi. I need help. Watching movies is not helping me understand the language. I need help.
Firstly, I need a list of good movies that I should watch.
Secondly, I need to know how I can learn how to speak hindi. I checked up the language centres and they are charging like 1500 dollars!!! Help needed!!

You promise me heaven, then put me through hell
Chains of love got a hold on me
When passions a prison, you cant break free
First day of the long holidays was spent in pumproom and I-rumours. Nila had some friends over at Pumproom and she invited me to come along at 11 pm while I was about to dozz off. Rushed and got out of the house in less then 15 mins. Getting a cab wasn't easy. I like Pumproom. You meet people from all walks of life and they are really friendly. So, random people kept coming up to us asking where we were from and what we were doing and getting to know more about Singapore. Interesting night. Met many, got high and loved the live band.
I-rumours was an eye opener. It's a Chinese "strip" tease club. China women clad in G-string danced on a huge stage while the crowd cheered and ogled. Lol! Shaun and Santino the twins got more excited when the fast numbers were played and they cheered louder. Ha ha! I left early because there was too much going through my head that night and I needed to get up early the next day anyways.
"You are a challenge" I was told. "Nice to know," I thought. The conversations are becoming more complex. So much is said indirectly and every time I open up, the wall gets thicker. Never mind. I should ignore. Maybe that's best.
What was supposed to be a "time together, talk together" plan became a gambling meet. I felt outnumbered so I shut up and watched movies and enjoyed the wine all by myself. Nothing is going to change. It will be the way it's supposed to be. Maybe this is a message for me. Time will tell. But, how so when I am being rushed for a decision based on empty words and timely affection? Oh how oh how?

Don't be offended by my frank analysis
Think of it as personality dialysis.....
Today, someone told me that I shouldn't be too frank. It could hurt others.
I replied, "Then they should seek treatment for being sensitive."
It was so humid today and I thanked myself for bringing my shades along with me. Oh how, oh how I wished the world was sepia or if we could switch the mode of colour our eyes can view things at. It would sepia all the way for me.
Work today was exciting. Weirdly, Yati lost her hand phone in office and I knew exactly how she felt. I've lost mine in the Suntec office once and I cried. Yes....I cried. I cried cause it was the fourth time I had lost a hand phone for the year. Everyone thought it was a prank pulled by one of the managers. They only got serious when the managers said they had no clue about her phone. Poor Yati, never found a phone and a body check did not even take place. Lucky thief...didn't get have much to handle.
Lunch was at Little India with Lady Lynn. We had Vegetarian food at the Madras New Woodlands Restaurant. Briyani was on our list but we were reminded that it was a vegetarian restaurant by the waiter who watched from head to toe. Embarrassed we settled for something simple. Lynn ate with a sad face...poor girl hates vegetarian food. Carnivore she. We left the restaurant and looked around the entrance for some indication that it was a vegetarian restaurant, but there wasn't any. tsk...
I noticed an authentic north indian ice cream parlour and suggested we try it out. North indian ice cream is known as kulfi and my oh my....I didn't really like it. It was too "spicy" for me. It had a very garam masala smell to it and it tasted of ginger or something close to it. Overall, I wouldn't say that it taste bad but I wouldn't want to try it again though.
The holidays have started and the ladies are calling me out to St James. I've got mixed feelings of going out tonight. I waited an hour for a taxi at Little India and since three quarter of the taxi drivers are Chinese, I figure getting a taxi after clubbing is going to be a huge challenge which I don't think I want to go through and nor do I have the patience to wait. Cuddling up in bed with something fury, human or warm seems more welcoming. =]
Enjoy your holidays darlings.....

You got me Tripping, Stumbling, Flipping, Fumbling...Is it Cause I'm falling In Love???
It's a hot Tuesday afternoon. Been wanting to blog about the weekend but every time I started typing, I got distracted and saved it as a draft. I've got 3 drafts saved already.
I liked Sentosa. But the Gods didn't I think. It's the second time it has to rain whenever I visit that man-made super expensive island. It kept drizzling the day long and me and Veena kept shivering. Lol! I couldn't resist the water so I dipped in. She never got near the water. ha ha! Ganesh's idea of playing rounders was fun, although I didn't catch the game. I ran whenever Shaun told me to do so. Lol!
The highlight of the whole outing was the fact that each of us made an effort to cook something and the cable car ride. The cable car event still tickles me la. Ha ha! Ganesh and his antics of risking his life...it was hilarious and I kept scarring him by telling him the spots that are sure death if the cable car was to snap. Ha ha!
I liked the sardine sand witch that Ganesh granny made and the nuggets that Shaun fried. Simple and yet fulfilling.

The Sisling is back from Australia. Too many relatives were over on Sunday. I never got to rest well and catch up on the much needed sleep. The good part was that she took over the chores so I was kind of free. I regretted not having a good read. The weekend was a good one. I dozed off while trying to finish up on a jigsaw puzzle I've started doing.
Puplings picked me up on Monday after work. We had dinner at a famous coffee shop. I noticed a really good looking Mud couple and mentioned to Puplings. He agreed as well. I had my usual ice kosong and was craving for maggie goreng. The nice mama uncle gave the ice kosong for free. Headed down to Alps Cafe and had my usual wine and Puplings enjoyed his beer. Much chattings and views were exchanged. Nice. Monday blues no more. Wine and him. Nice combi.
Headed home. Taxi rides are getting expensive. Received a call from an unknown number. PIcked up. The voice sounded familiar. Exchanged the greeting and enquired on who the caller was. He answered saying it was a dude from the southern hemisphere. Lol! I knew it was the darling boy...Ramit Dave Singh. One of the many blessings Shaun has brought into my life. I missed him many many. We had a sweet conversation. He mentioned, "I can't change. I'll always be the bastard you knew. But if ever you need anyone to talk to or if you ever need to punch anyone, you know this bastard will be the first one to be there..."
Sweet eh? It's rare you find sweetlings that stay. I reminisced...and slept.
