Welcome
Hello there, my name is Reena and welcome to my humble blog. I'm 23 yrs old currently doing my degree in Econs anf Finance in SIM. I strive to achieve a good balance of spritual and emotional comfort. I'm a typical Taurean, which means I have very little patience and alot alot of ego. I can be really quick tempered but I try not to hold grudges for long. I have a weird bonding with God and a craving for knowledge. I hope you do enjoy the documentations of my random thoughts.

Indian Men Do Gossip. / 11/28/07
If you happen to be gossiping, make sure the Mother Hen doesn't hear it. Cause if she does then the gossiped one will eventually hear about it. It's weird but Indian Men do bitch. Over the bloody smallest trivial matters. I never knew about the rules and codes in treating your boyfriend was written out by these rat asses. One minute it's entertaining and the next its a hot topic. If waking up in the morning is a problem, then make it a good one. Don't share your comments around cause at the end of the day, it gets hurting. Weirdly, when all that got to know about the issue never came up and offered to help. They as usual shared among themselves and concluded I guess. Ok, I'm assuming the last part. But.......I thought I was liked, now I know I was wrong. Never Mind then....

Read the darm thing! / 11/26/07
It's creepy how life changes ever so fast. One minute I was smiling and relinquishing at the thought of ending the day with a quick phone chat and the next I am lost and alone. Weird, but somehow I feel I have been trying to console myself with everything materialistic to prove my happiness. I hoarded and compared and piled everything up to my neck and what was supposed to be my lines, becomes other's. I stood in the darkness of my room wondering and wishing for something familiar to cling onto. But every word and action or comment seemed foreign. Decisions were made whilst I was sleeping in my nutshell, comforting myself to the pleasures of my new found security. Oh how wrong I was! How oblivion was I? I don't know.

I tossed and turned and images of everyone faces mocking and laughing at me appeared. I need to make a stand and the thoughts of my decisions frighten me. I am a weakling somehow. No matter what I do or say. I was wronged for my outburst. But these are outburst that vent out "frustrated Love" that's what I call it.

I can still conjure up the times when laughter filled my ears and life seemed like it was perfect. Everything is mine anyways. It's my decision to work on it. To jump the obstacles, to fight the battle and .....? I'm not a warrior. I'm a simple person.

    How do I handle changes?

    I love my saturdays! / 11/24/07
It's been a fun filled afternoon after all. The weather was perfect, the company was great and of course I was excited in trying the home cooked food which everyone had made. The group was split up because there were too many of us and in that process the information passed down was misunderstood and so Simran, Ric and I ended up in Palawan beach instead of Siloso. After walking for like what seemed to be 10 kilometres in the hot sun, we finally reached Siloso and we were so shagged. After lunch, we headed out and played the telematches. Because the people around me love me so much, I was always the one who was "saboed" for every darm thing and I was also the first one to be thrown into the water. Idiots! Haha! But I had a good time. Although I felt there were many who could have participated they chose to sit in the shelter instead. If there is ever a next time, we should get them out as well.

Every muscle in my body seems to be aching and I am super dehydrated. Am off to bed. Enjoy the pics.

Before leaving office, I had to see Miss Randawa and snap off with her. And, ya Simran somehow gets immense energy in the hot sun. Lol! That's how far back I was.

Resting out asses after the long walk.

Sunptious Food baby. I loved the calamari.

Miss Nila the manageress.....Such a lovable annoyance. Pls pls pls excuse the ugly bodies around her. We have slobs working with us as well. Lol!

Playing the 007 game that I never catched.

Since Simran doesnt drink, she had to eat Trisha's buttery egg sandwitch. I'd choose beer anytime!

Sentosa and PSLE results / 11/22/07
Tomorrow is Friday and Boy...it's been a busy busy week. I've been on my ass most of the days trying to get make calls and arrange bookings and praying that the clients will turn up. I need to improve on my show rate and I need to get Nila the manageress to stop coming after me. Lol! She's a darling.

Saturday is going to be fun! We are heading down to Sentosa to fill up the afternoon with loads of games, picnic food and of course we ladies can start on our cam whoring.

I came home after work today and baked myself a batch of cookies, took a hot shower, washed my compound, did abit of gardening and blow dryed my hair. Too much going out is keeping me out of touch with myself. I've always loved doing simple things by myself to get my mind off all the worries in the world. Right now in my nutshell, I'm feeling bad all those kids out there who didn't do well in their PSLE results. One of them is my cousin. Is it necessary to make them go through an exam which of course consists of Maths that sometimes can be challenging even to a University student? Pushing them with homework, mock exams and remedial classes and of course trying to mould them to all rounders, they have to choose a CCA as well. Isn't is unfair to those who are unable to cope up? I know if someone who scored 110 points for PSLE but she managed to get into Outram institute and is doing her degree now. Now, because of the normal, express and special streams, don't we somehow unknowingly judge the intelligence based on their points? I was shocked when she told me her results. But it somehow made me realise, that some of us are too young or rather not matured for such amount of pressure. I was myself was a "late-bloomer." My PSLE results weren't fantastic but I was a 14 pointer for O'levels. But because of my sad PSLE results, my primary school mother tongue teacher commented that since my results were bad and so I had to go to a government school, I would do badly for my O'levels as well. Haha! I made sure I proved her wrong.

When I am going to have kids of my own, I wouldn't want them to achieve what I have not. I would encourage but let them do according to what they are capable of. Once a child enjoys education, she would excel.

    Monday blues. / 11/19/07
    I hate Mondays!
Work was not too bad. We girls decided that we needed to bitch about the politics that is going on in the office and so we headed down to Gloria Jeans. I had creamy cocoa and yummy pasta salad. We spoke and spoke.

With so much going on in the lives of my dear ones, sometimes it makes me stressed. I wish I could go up to all these selfish people out there and tell them that life is not only about minding one's own business. What is friendship for is you can't be there to lend a shoulder? Why run away from those who are in trouble? Shame on you. You clearly don't know the meaning of friendship.

Shaun's only been away for 3 days and I'm missing him so so much. Sigh. With the confirmation over, I have nothing to look forward to. I finally decided on the presents I should get for the ladies. I messaged all of them asking them their favourites colours and placed the orders. I wish I could say what it is, but...........I know some of them do read my blog. So, I'd rather not.

    I'm off to sleep. Nites.

My forhead is oily cause of the scented perfume..
    My Godfather...
The Godfather stands behind the confirmant, holds him or her on the right shoulder and shows the card with the Catholic name on it.
See the card.....its written in very big fonts so that the archbishop can read. ha ha...
And the bishop marks the sign of the cross on your forhead with scented perfume and calls upon the holy spirit to guide the confirmant.
