Welcome
Hello there, my name is Reena and welcome to my humble blog. I'm 23 yrs old currently doing my degree in Econs anf Finance in SIM. I strive to achieve a good balance of spritual and emotional comfort. I'm a typical Taurean, which means I have very little patience and alot alot of ego. I can be really quick tempered but I try not to hold grudges for long. I have a weird bonding with God and a craving for knowledge. I hope you do enjoy the documentations of my random thoughts.

    Miss Indian Universal Pageant, Vasantham Star and so much of fun.... / 10/15/07
    The past been has been a emotional roller coaster for me. I kept myself busy by studying for the accounts exams and once it was over, I felt that could have tried harder. The weekend was packed with so many outings and I wasn't able to do my usual routine of cleaning my room and doing my laundry.

    Saturday was the semi-finals of the(click here-->
    Miss & Mrs. Indian-Universal Pageant 2007Indian & Little Indian Princess 2007 . My darling girl Gayathrie is taking part in it and I headed down to Meritus Mandrin hotel to support her. Kasturi was late and we were one of the last once to enter the grand ball room. *So embarrassing* The moment we were seated, we helped ourselves to the large spread of food. Haha! The food was awesome but the service could have been better. Most of the waiters were from China and I noticed alot of people struggling to converse with them. The coffee was super bitter and when I wanted sugar syrup, the waiter re-filled the sugar container. *rolls eyes*

    What was most impressive of the event was the number of (click here-->
    sponsors. Big MNCs like Singtel, Indian arilines and toni singapore were the sponsors as well. The contestants looked so stunning and their outfits were sponsored by Sheetal. Sooooooo gorgeous! The event ended really late because of the many hiccups that the organisers faced. Gaya3 baby got into the finals and it will be held somewhere in December. It was good to see an Indian organisation trying to achieve to something of a large scale. And yes, I would like to see more of such pageant going on. Enjoy the pics...

    Anyways, I really enjoyed myself and I reached home by 1.30pm. I was soooo tired but I woke up on Sunday and went to church with Mummy. Yeah! I'm so proud of myself. After lunch at Devagi's restaurant, (The food there is awesome! Gooodnes....I'II be back there again and I'II tell you guys all abt it soon k.) we headed home for a seista. Woke up later then expected and rushed to meet Anand to go for the VStar show.

    I'm not happy with the outcome. It is a competition about singing and Dhinesh and Deva were the only ones with good vocals. Even, the judges said so. But the people voted for Ebi. No point complaining rite. I'm not happy. He needs to learn how to pronounce Tamil words properly lar....

    Once the show was over, as usual we headed down to Adam road market for dinner, forgetting it was hari raya. Most of the Muslim shops were closed and I had prawn noodles. After diner Deva invited us over for a few beers and a good bitching sessions. Reached home at 1am. Tireeeed! I need good rest.
